Motion Body 900

  • Dual-Mode Movement: Easily switch between asynchronous movement for joint mobilisation and synchronous “handibike mode” for power development and wheelchair-specific training.
  • Flexible Training Positions: The drive unit’s wide adjustment range facilitates a perfect axle height for patients who are standing, seated, or using a wheelchair.
  • Optimised Wheelchair Accessibility: The frame is designed for easy access; by removing the seat, most wheelchairs can be positioned directly at the unit. For wheelchairs wider than 63 cm, an additional platform with integrated fixation connectors is available.
  • Bi-Directional Operation: Supports both forward and backward rotation, allowing for varied muscle engagement and comprehensive upper-body conditioning.
  • Leki® Grip Technology: High-quality ergonomic grips with a secure click-in system for straps or gloves, ensuring a stable and comfortable connection even at higher resistance levels.
  • Shoulder & Rotator Cuff Rehab: Specifically engineered to provide the smooth, controlled movement required for delicate post-injury mobilisation and rehabilitation.
  • Clinical Grade Reliability: Built to withstand the rigours of daily use in busy physiotherapy departments and sports medicine clinics.

The motion body 900 is an indispensable component of holistic exercise therapy and integrated cardiovascular training. Specifically designed for active engagement of the upper extremities, this versatile system is ideal for both endurance training and the targeted mobilisation of the arms and shoulders following joint injuries or surgery.

Exceptional Versatility and Ergonomics
The drive unit features an extensive adjustment range, allowing the axle height to be perfectly positioned for both seated and standing training. The system supports both forward and backward movement, and the standard length-adjustable cranks can be quickly switched to a synchronous “handibike mode.”

The asynchronous movement is excellent for shoulder joint and rotator cuff mobilisation, while the synchronous motion sequence is preferred for muscle building and is the optimal training mode for wheelchair users. To ensure maximum safety and comfort, the unit is equipped with Leki® grips. These feature a specialised click mechanism that allows for the use of hand straps or gloves, providing extra security for patients with limited grip strength.
